Stephanie + Will Engagement

Last week we were able to photograph Will & Stephanie and had chance to do some family shots with each of their kids.  We are so excited to be able to photograph their Wedding in Tahlequah, Oklahoma, later this month. We really love getting the chance to interact with out wedding clients before the big day, and engagements sessions are a great ice breaker. They were so fun loving and easy to be around, it makes us even more excited for the big day!  Here are a few of our favorites. Enjoy!

H+M {The Cermony}

Mike and Helen’s ceremony took place at her parent’s church in Bready, N.I. It had beautiful woodwork though out and an arched wood ceiling. It was quite unlike anything we’ve ever photographed. The ceremony was beautiful with a message by their pastor from Edinburgh, Scotland and then the marriage was preformed by her Father. There was  A capella  singing done by a quartet, who were then joined by the congregation. Those people can sing! We really enjoyed that.

The programs for the wedding were all stitched individually BY THE GROOM! Now, that’s love. So I had to make sure to add a photo of them on here. There was little the groom wanted, except for the Land Rover Defender that they drove away with. And he got his wish:)

Gorgeous Ceremony, Gorgeous Couple, enough said. Enjoy the photo’s…there are a lot….again:)Reception(s) coming up next!

Helen & Mike Part 2 : Getting pretty

This is a monster post. Normally we only do 10 or so photos, this one has 26.  I really couldn’t manage to put less, I just loved them so much. Helen put a great deal of time and care into the details of her wedding, and we really enjoyed photographing that. She really made it her own, and unique to her. You will see more of this is in the next post of the wedding and receptions (that’s right, its plural).

There is something so beautiful about getting ready for the wedding, the prep, the care in getting dressed, and paying attention to every detail. Helen’s dress was just amazing. It was gorgeous Spanish lace, and unlike anything we’ve ever seen. I couldn’t stop photographing it! The headpieces that the mother and bridesmaids wore were so beautiful as well. I love that she didn’t shy away from color. This winter wedding was anything but drab. The men all wore kilts, a tradition in this part of the world. I love that they all meant something, represented history and family. Jonathan said the kilts were quite a production to put on as well. You don’t just slip it on.  It’s kind of nice that the Gents had some work to do to look nice (in my opinion..haha).  Here are A LOT of our favorites. Enjoy!
